Clarify the information and instructions posted before the proctored exam
Clarify the information and instructions displayed before a proctored exam: Proctoring conditions: specify that the program team and the instructor may access the data; do not present decisions in cases of suspicion as always being the sole responsibility of the instructor. Approve wording appropriate for a text shared with all clients. Screen sharing: Verify how full-screen captures actually work and correct the sentence suggesting that the screen is only recorded after the exam has ended. Honor Code and Start: Include generative AI among prohibited aids and clarify that the exam is accessible starting at its scheduled start time. Camera activation: Verify the browser’s camera authorization settings and provide instructions that are also suitable for Windows, by reusing or supplementing the existing help documentation.
Please note that the review of answers applies only to written questions
Before completing the exam, the “Review my answers” button suggests that oral answers can be reviewed or corrected, when in fact only written answers can be. Rename the button to clarify this scope—for example, “Review my answers to written questions”—and verify that it matches the actual behavior.
Dictation Mode (speech-to-text)
Be able to use voice input in text fields, particularly for AI correction feedback and the AI assistant.
Fixed random selection per exam session
A fixed random selection (i.e., the same set of questions is drawn from each question bank for all students in the same exam session, rather than a different random selection for each student).
Question type: file upload
As an examiner, I would like to create questions that require file uploads. The test-taker uploads their file to a drag-and-drop area.
Specify that manually closing an exam also closes the third period
When a student is granted a time accommodation, they may continue taking the exam past the scheduled end time for other students. However, if you manually end an exam by clicking “Stop,” the exam ends for all students, even if they have a time accommodation or manual time extension. It would be helpful to provide a warning about this consequence when attempting to stop an exam or a session.
API endpoint to retrieve all of a student's results
I would like to have an API endpoint or method that allows me to find exam results based solely on an email address. Currently, to get the results, I first have to search for an exam, then retrieve all exams in batches and check if the email address is present. A direct search by email would simplify the process and could reduce the number of queries.
The student must be informed that their exam attempt has been reset
If a student's exam session is reset without being manually closed while the student is taking the exam, the student is not notified.
Docimological Analysis & Adjustment
As an examiner, after an exam, I want to analyze the psychometric indicators for each question (difficulty, discrimination, score distribution) and take immediate action (remove a poorly designed question, adjust the weighting) to ensure the reliability and consistency of the scores.
Help save time
It would be helpful to be able to reduce the additional time already granted to students
Display feedback by criteria without the rating
In the feedback shown to students, we don’t want the scores for each criterion to be displayed—only the feedback and the overall score.
Visual scan of the student's surroundings (360° Room Scan)
As an examiner, I would like the student to be able to perform a visual scan (a 360° room scan) of their surroundings during the ID check or during the exam to ensure the integrity of their environment.
Importing student data from Excel: Close the pop-up during long imports
When importing an Excel file containing student data, the interface may give the impression that the import failed, particularly when the pop-up window remains open even though the import has actually been processed in the background.
Support for multiple LTI accounts using the same email address
From Blackboard, it is not possible to test an Evalmee exam using a test account. A test account can dynamically create a new user with the same email address as the original account (but with a different ID : "lis_person_sourcedid"=>"utilisateur@ecole.com_previewuser) Therefore, this test account cannot be used due to the email uniqueness check.
Edit a locked answer key from the question editor
When a grading rubric is locked, you should either: be able to edit it from the question editor explain that you need to go to “Grade” > “By Question” to unlock the rubric and edit it from that page
Option to hide the "Generated by AI" label in student feedback
I would like to be able to remove the "Generated by AI" label that appears when graders use Evalmee's AI-generated feedback features. This label is visible to students and gives them the impression that their work is not being graded by a human, which leads to tension and negative feedback from students.
