Hardware & system

  • Laptop or desktop computer

  • Processor (CPU): 64-bit dual-core or higher (Intel, AMD, or Apple Silicon).

  • RAM: 8 GB recommended (4 GB minimum).

  • Compatible systems:

    • Windows 7 or newer

    • macOS 13 or newer

    • Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, etc.)

Web browsers

  • Recommended browsers:

    • Google Chrome (version ≥ 107)

    • Mozilla Firefox (version ≥ 104)

    • Edge (version ≥ 107)

  • Also compatible with other browsers, but performance is not guaranteed.

Exams with screen sharing via Zoom

Nous ne recommandons pas de passer les examens avec un partage d’écran via Zoom mais plutôt d’utiliser l’enregistrement d’écran intégré à Evalmee.

We do not recommend taking exams with screen sharing via Zoom, but rather using the screen recording feature built into Evalmee. This configuration is therefore provided for information purposes only, for examiners who wish to supervise a remote exam with continuous screen sharing.

  • Processor (CPU): quad-core (Intel i5/Ryzen 5 or higher, or Apple M1+).

  • RAM: minimum 8 GB (16 GB recommended for optimal performance with Zoom + browser + documents).

  • Compatible systems:

    • Windows 7 or newer

    • macOS 13 or newer

    • Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, etc.)

Browsers and Zoom

  • Web Browser for Evalmee: Google Chrome (≥ 107) or Firefox (≥ 104).

  • Zoom application: latest version available

  • If possible, avoid using Zoom simultaneously in the same web browser as Evalmee: open Zoom as a native application.
