Fixed

Let’s face it: it’s not unusual for a student or candidate to ask a question during an exam.
But too often, technical, academic, or logistical questions end up in the wrong place…
With this new version, we’re eliminating unnecessary back-and-forth with the technical support team. Students are now automatically directed to the right information or contact, depending on the nature of their issue.

A single entry point to reach out during the exam
Automatic redirection to:
The exam overview (instructions, timing, grading system, useful contacts)
The teacher or proctor for questions related to the exam content or exam conditions
Evalmee technical support only for actual platform issues (bugs, disconnections, display problems)

All messages exchanged during the exam are saved and appear in the corrected copy
Useful for:
Keeping a clear record of conversations
Helping teachers review and contextualize edge cases
Justifying decisions or accommodations post-exam

Available directly from the chat or the exam interface.
Includes all key information at a glance:
Exam rules
Timing and duration
Grading system
Students know exactly where to ask their questions
Teachers save time by having all conversations centralized and easily accessible
The technical support team can focus on real platform issues (if any)
Everyone is less stressed during the exam 🙂
Excel subject import: extra spaces before/after tag names are now ignored
Performance boost on detailed grade exports for exams using random question draws
Improved performance in the subject editor
More reliable Turnitin integration
Faster question rendering on the student side when more than 20 questions are displayed at once
LTI integration: added an error message when a user without an email tries to log in from the LMS
PDF exports of exam copies: fixed display issues for formatted text inside spreadsheet-type questions
Student import via email: fixed a bug where the student number was removed during import
Copy-paste detection: fixed detection issues with certain special characters
Documents & images: fixed a bug that prevented display if an image or file was opened more than 1 hour after the exam started
Exams with sessions:
Fixed an issue where the “Start” button didn’t activate in some conditions
Fixed a bug preventing exam scheduling when the session duration exactly matched the exam time limit
